After brazing under vacuum the tools are ready to be ground and require no cleanup post brazing which is major cosmetic difference as conventionally brazed tools frequently required a lot of manuals clean up and this can be a very significant time saving for the toolmaker.  And cosmetically vacuum brazed tools look better to the end user, and with experience it is possible to get very nice smooth even braze line with no voids.
